Let's re-instate the draft.......switch to a war time economy.....  have Ford, Chevy and Dodge start making strikers, M-1's, Bradley's, and trucks....


then let's invaded Iran, N. Korea, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and California (because there are soo many Liberals there.)


I really think if we did this we could go to patriot rallies with a clear conscience!  ;)

Not if you think about it long enough.  I'm sure with enough time you could draw a connection to the debacle in Iraq and blame Clinton for that too.   Hell, i just got a unexpected bill in the mail for $39 today.  Dam libs.

Congress authorized the Commander and Chief of the armed forces (i.e., George Bush) to use force in Iraq if necessary.  It wasn't necessary.  Bush gave the order to attack Iraq before the WMD inspectors could finish the inspections for WMDs.

He misused the congressional grant of authority (war powers resolution) to use force.

That's why Kerry voted for the $87 billion then voted against it.  Any sane person would have done the same thing in light of Bush's illegal use of force.

Instead, the propagandistic yahoos out there called Kerry a 'flip-flopper.'

Ford and Chevy can't even make a descent car, let alone a tank.... Are you trying to make 'em laugh. Might as well get the Japanese to build them...at least you'd know they would last.

The republican majority was a rubber stamp congress and could pretty much authorize whatever it wanted.  Your point is not relevant to Kerry's change of position and the legality of the invasion.
