Well, considering that my pick to win the NY Pro is not competing, who has the best physique to win the NY Pro? According to the RAS statistics, we have a few front runners up there. The first is of course Desmond Miller, who is looking great, and has some very high expectations to fill! Hell, MD already has him slated to win... judging by the June 2007 cover.  Of course, Lift Studios also picked Desmond to win, and he has a good track record, considering this is the guy who chose Phil Health ton win. He was right 6 out of 7 times, the last time being wrong was the Arnold. So who else will try to best Demond. Well, of course we have Lonnie Teper's pick, Dennis James. One who should never be taken lightly. Also in the running is Branch Warren, who cannot be taken lightly, and just might win this show. Silvio Sauel is in, looking good, whom I just saw about a week ago at Koleseum Gym training. Also, lets not forget the surprise entry, who almost always makes the top 5, Paco Bautista. And of course, our favorite, who is going to make a big surprise for all of us, the King himself, King Kamali. As for who I chose, Darrem Charles, well... he chose to compete in the Keystone Classic two weeks later, and the Colorado Pro three weeks later... |

If Desmond is top 3, its a victory for him.
Dennis James looks phenomenol, Dennis Wolf looks amazing, and if Kamali can regain the form he had when he won his pro card he'll be top 5 as well.

Anything is possible. No one thought Phil Heath would beat him and he was off just enough for Phil and Darrem to both beat him. |

If Darrem was in the show, I would be right in the ballpark... but Darrem chose not to...
Of course, there can always be other surprises... Vince Taylor is not going to be at the NY Pro!
