King may not have the greatest body, but nobody can deny he is definitely the most talked about bodybuilder on these boards at least, and he probaly makes quite a good living off of being the hated one.
He had a dream and tried to reach it, he figured size would catapult him towards greatness and it did not. I forget who posted that comment a while back about how as a bodybuilder, you have to know if you have the look and if you do then add size, don't attempt to cover up your flaws with size because it will just make them stand out even more.
In all honesty he went for his dream which most of us don't, he might have failed but at least he has the ability to say he tried his best, and he has a hot wife.

I find it comical that every time someone gets down on Kamali for his flaws, character and otherwise, someone always chimes in with "yeah, but his wife is hot" as though that is an accomplishment of his or that makes up for all his negatives. i.e.: "Gee... so and so is a loser ax-murderer, but his wife is a knock-out, so let's give him the nobel prize!"  |

Good post. And its true. When i did my first shows as a teenager, you can tell who was gonna make it and who would not. My best friend entered with me and it was sad to see him at the bottom of the pack....... Structure is the foundation. BTW, Goat.....Its always nice to have a HOT wife to share your life with when all this shallow shit is over.  |

of couse we will all soon hear how king had 100 people in the audience and they all thought he should have been top 3 as well as other competitors and people in the industry. same story year after disappointing year. by the way, he may still be under contract with MT, but its been a long while since i've seen him in any of their ads. |

If pumping synthol is a way to improve than that is pathetic. His biceps clearly show signs of synthol use and his triceps do as well. When he hit a side triceps shot, he had no visible "horse shoe" formation from this triceps. Synthol use is pathetic and he should not only be ashamed of using it, but also be penalized heavily. |

He didn't land any deal, it's false, and it's "the Kamali Way-" to make sure your name is still out there and nobody forgets about him. So he makes up rumors, or has someone else do it, and his name is not forgotten. That's the only credit I give King- that he is a good publicity machine for himself. Let me ask you this; how can you be washed up, if you've never won anything aside from a "Best Poser" award? Even then I don't think he should have won that, but aside from those awards he's never taken home a first place trophy and his good placings were in shows of lesser caliber; Ironman, NOC, but never the Arnold, or Olympia etc.... No matter what, Kamali improved on that stage from last year. He looked a lot better, and the overall pictures say so. But the lineup has become much more tougher, and that reflected too.

Maybe Kamali should move to the PDI now......he may be able to crack the top 5 in their shows and he could make some $$$$$ in the process.
He is done in the IFBB.....all these "improvements" from yr. to yr. don't seem to be doing him any good.
Move on while you can Kamali.....he will have a good following in the Euro shows also.
This guy will NEVER place in the top 5 in the IFBB again.....too many BBders have past him by.

King is a by product of 1/4 rep training while upping the dosages and upping the weight and thinking you are actually making progress...I believe he probably trained balls to the wall before turning pro...Then believed all the hype and thought his body would respond to such silly training...
Now he is just a much smaller version of kovcas...Maybe he can follow Kevin out to Hollyweird and drop down to 200 pounds and get on the big screen..
