Here's Pavol looking good as he gets ready for the 2007 NY Pro. http://forum.spam.com/showthread.php?t=3966Other than his midsection, I think his physique isn't aging too badly. Bob said he looks his age physique-wise, and I can agree with that, but if not for the loose skin on his midsection I think he would not look it. Awesome physique.

He could get surgery for the midsection and get rid of the loose skin. It's not more than a couple of thousands and it's definitely worth it in a sport like BB.

Would he be able to recover that money in the industry somehow? If not, I would say that the actual financial cost of such a surgery would outweigh the potential benefits.

The real looseness is only the one side and goes across in the same area as an apendix or hernia surgery.
Does anyone know if he's ever had one of these surgery's?

I agree, his posing leaves a lot of room for improvement. He motors through poses the same as Gunter does and the same as others have as well before him - Sergio for example. Posing is really not that hard. I think to some degree it reflects on a bodybuilder's intelligence to pose properly. Understanding the simple basis of presentation as it relates to the aesthetics of the physique requires some degree of intelligence. I would say all pros who cannot pose well are either unintelligent, ignorant in that area, or lazy. One of those three I think applies to every single pro who cannot pose properly. This really isn't that hard. Pavol's posing is reprehensible, especially for a veteran. Is it so hard for him to even do something as simple as slow down and show the muscle for a greater length of time? Learn from Bob Paris or Shawn Ray.

The best posers were Yates and Nasser. No bullshit, powerful music, powerful poses, and right to the point.

Still, he's looking pretty good... Still has a much tighter midsection than most people around the IFBB.

As far as powerful posing for powerful physiques, yes - they posed incredibly well and it suited their physique types very well. Bob and Shawn also posed in accordance with their physique types, and I happen to prefer that match - aesthetic physiques matched with aesthetic poses versus powerful physiques matched with powerful poses. This is bodybuilding perfection to me, in every sense possible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ba9O9dL02M

He's looking good, I dont think he'll qualify for the olympia again though. You are right, posing is not hard at all. A good eye for constructive criticism, and practice is all it takes. If you cant pose, then normally you dont use proper form either. Paul Dillet is a good example. Dorian is a good example of the opposite O

You do make a valid point, but he has no choice. The midsection outshadows the rest of his physique, one little thing that doesn't look right on anybody's body people will be quick to point out your weakness.
