I agree , but he is not a young lion any longer. How old is the tank now? he was AWESOME back in his prime, wide as a barn, tiny hips/waist and flared quads for days.

he won his pro card at the 92 Nationals I think. He won the LH when Flex won the USA and if Wheeler hadn't showed up looking like he did EVERYONE would have been talking about John. He was just plain old awsome for those 2 shows. I don't think he ever hit that kind of condition again but if you can find pics of those shows it's really impressive. The only other guy at the nationals who could have touched him was Edgar Fletcher but for some reason he ended up in 3rd place in the HW behind Chris Duffy who was ripped but was kinda stringy and Beau Matlock who was good but nowhere near Fletcher at that show. Intersting that Edgar never really hit that level of conditioning again either.

I remember Sherman back when he Mike Francois made his debut at the NOC. Sherman won the Niagara Falls Classic that year. At the NOC, his legs were huge, with a small ass waist. Lee Priest was in that show and couldn't hold a candle to Sherman.

You mean to tell me that we're going to see the return of David Dearth, and the Sherman Tank in the same show? Now there's actually a reason to watch Kamali get his ass kicked again. On a side note, I just wanted to give King a reason to start a "to all the haters" post on his website..........that's if it is back up again Barbara did pay the back payments right?

That was '94, which was Sherman's sophmore year in the pros, when he and Francois were in the NOC (along with Nasser, Alq Gurley, and Mike Quinn completing the top 5). Also, Henderson Thorne won the Niagara, with John in 2nd and David Dearth (who'll also be at the NY Pro) in 3rd.
Do you have any pix bro?
