why would you attach an earmark for the port to an emergency war funding bill?

Why would any politician attach an earmark to any bill?

It's the way our government works. 

I think that should change.  But until it changes, that's how the game is played.

Why should politicians sacrifice anything for the war? 

President Bush has asked for ZERO sacrifice from any american.

Nobility in character is almost dead for politicians.

Only one politician I know of stands out as a statesman and a man true to his word and he comes from Wisconsin:  Russ Feingold.

Both sides are really pissing me off..nobody gets anything done. If u want a baseline of my political views..I like Michael savage...yeah he gets fired up but he pokes at Bush as much as the Dems. Rush and Hannity defend the Repubs way to much.

The New York Post isn't a conservative paper is it? 

The NY Post is a scandal tabloid. Very entertaining, and it definitely has its place.

But it doesn't compare in credibility with Washington Post or NY Times.
