1) Silvio Samuel
2) Desmond Miller
3) Dennis James
4) Branch Warren
5) Dennis Wolf
If Craig Richardson is in shape, then he will place in the top 5. According to Shawn, King Kamali will be right where he was last year.... making excuses again...

I talked to King at the Arnold and told him to simply come back in his 2001 shape - that's it, that's all! He assured me things were under control and he said he would be better than ever. But my point was that things didn't have to be better than ever and he simply needed to be as he was in 2001 and would qualify for the Olympia. He needs no improvements on his 2001 Ironman form, or the 2001 ASC or 2001 Olympia for that matter. All were excellent showings. i think Ron was just echoing what Shawn said and you have to remeber that Shawn is going to have his bias but there is no way that Silvio or Desmond will touch either of the Dennis' if they are at their best neither will Craig Richardson he's just too small.
Good point. Unless Silvio brought something to the table we've never seen before. I don't see how Desmond could have made drastic improvements in the short time since those offseason pictures were posted. I understand why Shawn would be biased - King has said some very caustic shit about him in the past. Regardless, if King were to come in as he did in 2001, I think he could round out maybe the top six. Maybe higher if the other guys were off. There is some decent quality in that lineup. Not sure why people were saying Wolf doesn't look good. He is huge and still has a tiny waist and midsection relative to his size. |

Silvio may be new, but he is pretty refined for a guy who has just been making noise in recent times. Desmond still has a bit of refinement to make and I doubt he will beat those guys. |
