That is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED...as Silvio told me back stage...almost in tears... Bob told me that I will loose contract because of the pictures posted on board...and he said that he will try to talk to Robin Chang after the show... Unless you say that Silvio is not telling the truth? |

I told him that we've been over this already, and those consequences (which were told to him by other people) could happen, as he ASKED ME what the deal was......I then explained that I would indeed take care of it for the time being and not to worry about it, etc... Now, 15 minutes before his important competition "athletes rep" and his suppose to be friend Shawn are alarming him that HE IS ABOUT TO LOOSE contract...which to him possibly means - breaking the dream...and going back to Spain...as he would not be able to afford his life here?

1) You posting pictures of Silvio...that's what. It was addressed by Robin Chang.
I have discussed with Robin Chang IN DETAIL...and specifically asked him DO YOU WANT ME TO STOP POSTING...and his response was NOT what you expect to be...or what you are stating here...
I know exactly what was said....if it's anything different than what I stated...by all means...post it (cant wait to see this)
2) I know that from Robin, as the athletes rep...I'm kept informed on situations that involve them.
Robin knows that I am Silvio's manager...He didn't find appropriate to discuss the issue with me?
And who exactly said that he is going to loose the contract?
Shawn's wishful thinking - so he can prove to Silvio and others how "bad" I am for him, Weider, IFBB, athletes...?
Apparantly, Silvio sees it differently.
3) If that were true, you wouldn't have been taking pictures and posting them AGAIN, as you were already told not to do so. I know your intentions are not bad in any way...but a contract is a contract and has to be enforced...as was explained to you.

Well, if he approached you - I will say - I understand your position... However, this is not how was related to me... That leaves Shawn ALONE as someone who should have known better not to disturb the athlete right before the contest... As far as Silvio's managers position...what was your question? You are not aware of that? Robin Chang is not aware of that? Or both of you simply want to ignore that? I negotiated two contracts for him and I discussed with Robin just couple of weeks ago AGAIN - that he should call me if he has concerns and not Silvio... I don't claim to be an expert but what harm did those pics cause wieder? To me it serves as a promotional tool, now if he charged to see them it would be another story. maybe if wieder didn't feel they had to own every aspect of the sport it wouldn't suck as much as it does right now..good job running it into the ground. doesn't something like this just build hype for a show? I mean I know BB is growing by leaps and bounds so I can see where they'd want to stop anyone from getting a little to excited aboout seeing anyone show up looking good but c'mon. What harm?? It's a CONTRACT...they're PAYING for the expressed consent of having EXCLUSIVITY of using the photos, interviews, etc.....that's the whole point of having a contract. Why aren't you on Blechmans case, or the supplement companies?? They ALL have exclusive contracts with athletes that they are PAYING for... Welcome to Business 101... |

Has he ever actually come out as gay? I use to see him at Johnny Lats gym in NYC in 99, and he was quite effeminate, but he was always with a girl. And I use to see his ad in the back of HX (weekly bar rag) in 2000 or 2001, but I don't remember if it was an escort ad or for massage. (note to future pro bodybuilders: if you're going to place an ad in a gay magazine, don't use your real name) then he's done the j/o videos at musclehunks (with a grapefruit!). and Bodybuilder Jam at jimmyZs. but has he actually come out as gay? btw, the Bodybuilder Jam 18 photos were from last year, and he had no pony tail. could he have grown one that quickly? or is it a clip-on? |
