conditioning looked very good, tight and dry as you said.. waist to shoulder ratio on this guy is huge! Almost nearing Brian Buchanan territory there. Legs do not match the upper body, need to come up a lot. All around great comeback showing!

His quads and posing looked a little off. Chamberlain was IMPRESSIVE. I would wager that he gets an Olympia qualification at one of the late Summer shows.

Looks like his Left Quad is Torn but he is making a comeback from waaay back so it's hard to be too critical. Welcome back kid!

I know you mean no harm Shawn, but, my left quad has never been torn, I have never had any injuries. THESES ARE ARE CALLED INSERTIONS, which NO ONE in this sport has today or for that matter, have had in a while.

Which is why I said, "WEIRD" it actually looked unworldly and the only explaination I had was it looked Torn the cuts were soo deep. No Bad intention, but when I went up top and then saw pics, I concur with you, you just dont see those insertions anymore. Keep your head up and smile more, you did great all things considered, what you did was actually more than most expected! It takes time but the ball is rolling and you're on the way back, so stay the course, get into your comfort zone again onstage and project, you belong up there but in this show you looked abit incomfortable and it showed. The Wheels John, are what set you apart from many in the sport but there were others I was sitting with that were puzzled by the deep insertions which is why I made the comment. Glad to hear all is well, now let's ROCK!

Thanks for the kind words from the guys on this board. I know that if I impressed some of you, I'm sure not all of you, I did a good job. True, I sacrificed some leg size to get as conditioned as possible. Not again, this problem will be correscted shortly. But for now, BIG WINS AGAIN!

Again, it all depends on where you were sitting, I was Front Row Dwn Lt, then later went up top and it was a totally different take. Many of you at home watching online, dont get the same view in person or up close. It is all a matter of perspective and lighting not to mention "Subjectivity" when it comes to the Judging.

Glad to hear all is well, now let's ROCK! You were correct in , I didn't feel comfortable on stage. I don't think you would feel comfortable either if Branch warren was the first one called out in the symmetry round. @ that point, you have a clear idea how the ball is going to roll. Imagine being @ the Olympia and instead of hearing Shawn Ray to the center, you hear JIM QUINN to the center, Zuccolotto on one side, and any other huge waisted person this sport on the other

Agree with Shawn, Tank....you looked great, just need to get that "Shermanator attitude" back on stage. Don't let the callouts get to you, with some more stage time, you'll get your just due...just ask Toney Freeman!! Good to have you back out there, bro!

Thanks Bob, I appreciate it greatly! When it was all said and done, I know, conditioning wise, this was my best. Now, it's time to dial it all in and bust some heads open!

Hey John Sherman, When are you competing again? We need this type of physique to steer bodybuilding back to the right direction.

I thought John had some of the best conditioning in the show. He def looked hard as a rock, he is right about not sacrificing the legs next time, his X frame will look much better with a little more size on legs..
