Author Topic: so what exactly happened to Levrones Hollywood career? (Read 6366 times)

i remember reading a quote he said along the lines of "Vin Diesel etc are just holding my place for me, they just want to be like us bodybuilders. Hollywood needs me and they know it!"

from my reckoning, hes realised that he's never gonna be a Vin Diesel and has gone back to a sport in which he had declined in anyway. His legs had been suspect a while, so i dont see how hes going to come back and make an impact against todays elite. Vic, Dex, Melvin - these guys are all at the top of their game and i dont see him beating any of them other than by name. Afterall he got alot of gifts towards the end of his career.

If he doesnt bring up the legs then he shouldnt be treated any differently than guys like Joel Stubbs, afterall from the waist up is only half the body. I would like to see him prove me wrong but i just dont see him doing it.

Absolutely. I have the Muclemag from '93 which has the post Olympia write up and I think it's Bob Kennedy who suggests that Dorian has Hollywood at his feet if he wants

. I also have numerous Flex's from the 80's where Rich Gaspari says in interviews that he has some "big acting jobs in the works". Maybe I missed those. It's amazing how delusional bodybuilders and bodybuilding writers were back then.

Quincy Taylor and Will Harris roles in Be Cool comes to mind.
