It is about time for Wolf.  I guess the judges started looking at the board, to see the following that Wolf has.

Personally, I think it would be a more exciting Olympia if only the winners of the past year qualified.

Agreed, it would allow for much better comparisons and everything.  Back in the day only former Mr. Universe's could compete in the olympia and it was better imo

WOW.

That is just too many, IMHO.

Twenty men already and you're going to add 10 to 18 MORE guys in the next 5 shows.  Imagine 37 men onstage at the O.  It's supposed to be the BEST of the BEST.   You have a good idea about the winners only.

I only count 4 shows:  Colorado, Europa, Montreal, and Atlantic City.  3 spots/show, that's 12 more max.  But you only get 12 if no one already qualified competes and takes up spots, and that also assumes that you don't have duplicate competitors in any of the shows, which is also unrealistic.  I'll bet you only end up with 6 or 7 more qualified competitors at most. So 27 qualified, and how many of those won't do the O?  You end up with maybe 22 guys actually competing in the O.

now do the three Grand Prix shows after last year's Olympia count?  If so, then Sergey Shelestov and Markus Ruhl are added to the list

Can we get a crowd estimate?? Because I imagined the entire Jersey/PA bodybuilding crowd would be at the Shore and it wouldn't leave a large crowd in that Allentown/Bethlehem metropolis. But maybe I was wrong.

found this pic on another website.  it's out of focus, but it gives a pretty good idea of the (lack of) attendance.

Kai Greene
Marucs Haley
Phil Heath
Dexter Jackson
Dennis James
Victor Martinez

Personally, I think it would be a more exciting Olympia if only the winners of the past year qualified.
shawn ray also said this some years ago.he said this in some issue of flex mag.he said that olympia should be exclusively for the top 15 bodybuilders in the world,it should be very elite with the best of the best competing against the each other

Damn that is gonna be a huge line up. Interesting to see how Wolf and Greene will place. And of course Ruhl. Has he qualified for the Mr.O yet?

Prediction: Wolf will be Mr.O in about 4 years time with Greene always being runner up. The new Cutler-Coleman.
No doubt about it...

Placings

1. Dennis Wolf
2. Desmond Miller
3. Kai Greene
4. Branch Warren
5. Silvio Samuel
6. Darrem Charles
7. Craig Richardson
8. George Farah
9. Johnnie Jackson
10. Brian Chamberlain

I was there, the top 2 are pretty much right on. Dennis Wolf looked like he was in another league. I was excited to see Darrem but Honestly Again Wolf just looked like he was at another level.

It was a pretty decent show, the Pro star power was a little weak but it was ok.

Desmond Miller looked amazing, his legs were insane...Silvo was a surprise, he looked so damn impressive yesturday.

Haha, cool pic there is the Big greek George...he just won the Bev...

Anyhow YES it was pretty QUIET!!! I was there for the Morning and the Night show...my training partner did the masters/open/novice... I couldnt believe what a WEAK turnout it was...

Also, the amateurs had some SHITTY plaques handed out to them..only trophies were to the overall winner...

The promoters are retarded...the amateur show was only at the heavyweight class at 9pm....wtf, people dont want to be there all night..they try to do too much all together.... Honestly i was so tired I couldnt stand to watch another routine...

Vince Taylor

Hey Tim, What show did Vince do to qualify?
