first day i walked into the gym i went ahead and benched 315. i was like, "yeah, that felt good. next?"
people told me i was a natural and would be the next mr olympia and shit, but i didn't want to do that. i was more after tone and general fitness for the mma. dana told me he didn't want me all muscle bound and tight when i stepped in the octagon with couture.
so i prefer light weights these days. you know, 5 sets of 25 with 405. nothing too heavy in case i get too bulky. don't want to get too big. i mean, how the fuck am i supposed to rip a man's heart out and show it to him all beating and shit if i've got 24" arms
obviously, i'm not going to be able to get that big ass arm inside his chest cavity without leaving a big ol mess. so, yeah, i just keep my arms slender and toned at 20". that way i maintain the cat like quickness. wait, there, did you see that?
