A better move for him IMO would be to train for the World's Strongest Man. The publicity both for him and BB outside of hardcore BB audiences would be phenomenal if he trained and prepped for it, specifically working on agility and the particular skills needed. I mentioned this to Brian Ron's mentor but it might take another loss or more to get the message.

I emailed Ron and he responded on his blackberry; he does in fact believe that he's still so unusual that normal rules don't apply, including apparently aging. We shouldn't be seeing the deterioration he should be gone by now. I said that the IFBB isn't going to let him win again unless he's clearly superior physically, and what's the likelihood of that? He doesn't accept that truth though.

As a former linebacker he'd have a good chance of regaining some mobility if he lost some weight and started doing more athletic things. Once an athlete always an athlete, IF the right measures are taken.

Ronnie's looking pretty good. I assume his plan is to come in a bit lighter and have his conditioning spot on. I'm a Cutler fan and i seriously think Ronnie might cause an upset this year.

Man, his left arm is killing me.  I really hope he can pull his symmetry back together before the Olympia.  At first, I was actually kinda glad that Cutler won the O last year, just because I was ready for a change.  But after meeting Ronnie for the first time at the Arnold a few months ago, he's completely cool and deserves to win again if he can just show up in actual shape. 

Speaking of the Arnold (even though it's old news, I was just reminded), it was hilarious because originally I was in line to see Jay at the MuscleTech booth, and word got around that Ronnie arrived at the BSN area, and everyone BOOKED from the MuscleTech booth to the BSN table where Ronnie was, myself included.  It was hilarious.  Jay must have been pissed.

The reason Ronnie travels around the globe was either

1) Agreement made before 2006 Olympia (he was confident in winning his 9th and show the world that he broke the record)

2) Trying his best to keep his stake high (since he's no longer Mr Olympia)

The Tiger Woods analogy is horrible, he's about 15 years younger than Coleman. If Woods was middle-aged and started losing more and recent performances didn't show a reversal, your poor analogy would make some sense.
