Why isn't this contest one of the ones listed for special forum? It's one of the best shows of the year. It has four men's pro cards, more than any other NPC show except the Nationals.

It also gives a pro card to the masters women's bodybuilding winner & to the masters figure winner. The teen & collegiate contests are also excellent, & offer outstanding opportunity to competitors for a national title & national prominence. http://www.garyudit.com/npc_main.html |

Last year Gary had about 340 competitors for this show!!!! Should be around the same number this year.

If not more. There are more categories & last year the masters men were down a little (8 total in light-heavies, way down from the previous few years).

Not only that, but let me be the first to say my friend, Marty Vranicar IS the 2007 Master's(50) National Heavyweight Bodybuilding & Overall Champion & for those of you who do don't know him, he is one of the nicest,humblest people you will ever meet. Way to go Marty, you deserve it!!

Great for him, I remember him from when I was a teenager, he had a great physique, he had a brother as well (name slips my mind) but he was a good as well. Are there any pics from the show?? |

Marty competed in a NPC competition in Pennsylvania back in 2004 just after his mother passed away. His routine was dedicated to his mother and it was very moving. When all the other competitors found out he was competing they new it was all over!!!!!

Marty is one of my best friends & let me tell you at the age of 50 he trains harder & looks better than most guys half his age. We call him the "Governor" at the gym,becuse when he arrives the first 5 min, everyone is coming up shaking his hand or asking for advice on training or diet. ( He helped me with Arvilla the last few weeks of Mikes first show) Honest to God, everyone loves this guy. Absolutely a wonderful human being.
