If you were to wear a book bag of weights all day and walk in your tippy toes you calves would grown even an a calorie defecit. Explain that? What about cyclists who ride bikes all day. Their quads continue to grow with resistance.
Hehe. Not even close. Watch the Tour de France this summer, my little leaf muncher. This event is so gruelling that the participants cannot consume enough calories to replenish what they expend (this was the initial idea behind the tour). They are, by the first day, in a caloric deficit from which they don't recover, and they do indeed get smaller, not larger. What little fat they have goes first, then muscle is consumed. No frickin' wonder EPO and other goodies are necessary to finish.
