Question for Milos: Why don't you guest pose?

You say you never have an off-season, and in looking at recent pics,
you definitely look better than a lot of other pros who guest pose,
without having to prep much.  Throw some color on, and you're good to go.
Palumbo may be the only other guy who stays in some kind of shape, but then again, most don't care for his asthetics. At least he doesn't come on stage smooth.

Since you're hinting at making a comeback, why not do some guest posing, building up hype to you eventual return?

i'd probably pay for a ticket just to see Milos guest pose.

He is one of the most interesting guys out there, and prob one of the top 10 physiques

I saw him competing sveral times and he was good. But top 10? Not that much....

While I did 72 pro shows and never got really out of shape - I could have been good choice for promotors...Right?

I maybe guest posed 5 times in US tops...as promotors wold tell me - Milos - you look average...like every day guy you can see in the gym every day...People want to see FREAKS...

People always say things like that which need additional clarification.  For example, "Ronnie's back looked like shit in 2006".  If "looked like shit" means "not the very best in the world."  As for Milos looking average, I think they meant they wanted huge mass monsters guest posing and I suppose I can see the appeal to that with a freak loving population.

I can't believe promoters have that attitude - Milos is a Olympian FFS!

Most guest posers are holding about 15-20% bodyfat when they're in their offseason - size isn't everything and all you get is a GH gut up on stage for your money.

Can't disagree with you there.  Many folks don't like those "freaks" when they are in contest shape.  They still have the distended guts, with synthol and the rest.  How much worse do they look guest posing?

Even guys like Shawn haven't always brung it on a stage as his frequently posted guest posing pics show.  I'm sure he's done more, but those pics with him clearly out of shape are the only ones I've seen.

Still, Milos said he's hovering around the 250's now.  Hardly small even these days, and again, we're talking about guest posing, not a contest.

Too bad Milos that these promoters passed you up, but I would think you'd be more in demand now than you were back then.  It seems like your more popular now than ever.  You're certainly more in the news, and internet radio so perhaps those promoters will come calling.

Perhaps you were blackballed.

You've always been outspoken as to the state of the sport - particularly when Wayne was still running things.  I still have the 2001 Mr. O press conference where you said you were questioning the judging system since 1997, and asking what is the criteria that the judges are looking for, so athletes can prepare. 

Perhaps you ticked off some brass and your name made the black list.  Given your current status as a suspended athlete for speaking out over what you felt was wrong it's not beyond them - again especially when Wayne was running the show.

Ive seen many bodybuilders less popular and less appealing guest pose in shows lately.

May 2005 - I actually wasn't suppose to guest pose at all - but as I was there (Puerto Rico) and I was in a "good mood" so I decided to surprise Gustavo and step on stage with him  - during his posing routine.

We were doing few appearances together (including TV shows...) so I got the idea that I could actually remind myself what is like being on the stage again...

Well - I hate to say it...but I realized that I don't miss it at all...thus - I really don't want to "rush".
