Most of the competitors have checked in and made weight tonight. Notes from what I saw: • Jerome looks out of it, which could be a good sign for him as he is usually very animated and upbeat. I don't see him being happy with the outcome though, some better conditioned and detailed guys in his class. • Peter Putnam was looking on course and in very good condition. Crazy wheels and his upper body has come up. • Robert Hatch's upper body looks great, we'll see if his wheels can hold off others for the title. • AD Cherry weighed in at 222.5 lbs and I expected him to be a little drier, but who knows what could happen in the last 24 hours. • Lots of attractive females in the Figure class and as always some seemingly less than pleasing looks. A few figure competitors looked as if they should be lightweight bodybuilders, with far too drawn faces and hard looks. There were a few new fresh faces I hadn't seen before. • Jose Raymond was ripped at check-in. • Lots of pros and schmoes in the house. I'll be shooting Chris Faildo again at the local Gold's Gym in the morning and post a few up if I get a chance before tomorrow night's finals. Below are a few photos from tonight. Usually I flame on 'hollywood' fergie but this is the best I have seen him...and we all know that if you get that plus your freinds with certain people....you get the card...he'll get a card and Hatch as well.... Putnam looks good, needs more mass though

It will be interesting to see how everyone looks tonight at prejudging. Tonight things begin with figure (about 200 total competitors) and then the men go on. The prejudging is starting earlier than usual, which is good considering the number of competitors.
