You sound like my mom!  At her last job one of her bosses brought her in a plate of cookies that his wife had made and asked him to give to my mom.  There was a "blank spot" on the plate which indicated some cookies were missing.

My mom asked her boss if he had eaten some of her cookies.  He acknowledged that yes, he had done so.

She went off and told him he owed her the number of cookies he had eaten.

He brought more to her the next day.

My mom can be pretty scary :-[
