Well, three weeks left to go, and Chris Cormier is speeding full steam ahead with his preparations for the Montreal Pro.  Working out with Robby Robinson, training with Charles Glass, can Chris Cormier come back in great shape to win the Montreal Pro?

The answer is yes.  We quickly all forget what a great physique Chris has when he is truly ready, truly training correctly, and not cheating on his diet. This time, the Real Deal looks to be ready.

Of course, if Johnnie Jackson, Troy Alves and others have anything to say about it, this won't happen. But I get this feeling that Chris is going to dominate this show....

We shall see...

He comes in too soft.  Not really a threat.  His best years are behind him now.

His only problem is going to be whether or not he comes in shape especially in the Hamstring dept.
Other than that, the sport has not progressed past him in the last two years.
He is in control of his destiny of getting back on track and into the the Olympia again.
Easily top 6 if he hits his condition right but Montreal & Atl City Lineups will not be reflective of the Olympia Line Up where the Rubber Hits the Road.
Time will tell and the clock is ticking............... :-\

you see! Troy looked great here!

given he wasnt 100% in the glutes / hams area, so what...

it's not the olympia...MTL pro..JOJ won with no calves and narrow legs....
you dont have to be THAT astounding to win that show...
also if Cormier misses his mark (which he often did, but i doubt he will this time)
Troy is the guy who could slip past him.

He seems to be very determined and serious about this, he knows the clock is ticking and he doesn't have much time left to be a top competitor. Having said that his conditioning shouldn't be a problem as I don't see him cheating much on his pre contest diet, the big question here is will he regain the size and density he once showed. If he still shows the muscle maturity of someone with as many years BBing as he has he will win this shows and place high in the Olympia. He has the shape, symmetry and aesthetics to compare with anyone in this game and come out on top.

I saw and spoke with Chris earlier today at Gold's Venice. He's big, he's very big. Waist is still tight, zero distention. Skin is very tight everywhere, he's vascular but not particularly hard. He still has 19 days so... tough to say.

I wish him luck.
