Well I will give you that, but that's because IMO Rocky Balboa was a better quality movie than at least 2 or 3 of the others.  There was nothing cheesy, nobody had to die, it wasn't trying to "sell" something, and a lot of the lines and dialogue were much more believable, making the movie seem so much more realistic.  This movie took its time, didn't shove anything in your face.  Rocky was no longer this superstar, but a normal guy fighting father time.

stallone made that film for people his age, but instead the young people went to watch it, since it wasnt over the top or cheesy they only watched it once and generated 70M in the U.S  and it cost 24M to make (Im not sure if it includes marketing or not) and 85M overseas so it was profitable, but Rocky 4 made $127,873,716 in the U.S alone and and
$172,600,000  international and that was 1985 and it ranks number 1 sports movie Ever
