That's what Jay cares about. 

He knew he was a lock to win this year no matter what he looked like.

I'd have to disagree.....too me it seems as though he is tighter and more "dry" than contests past.
Granted he hasn't filled out filly  YET. Give him time...as the contest progresses he will look better.

either that or age is having it's effect on him already, remember Jay's been doing this since he was a teenager!
