It's Joe Weider's Mr. Olympia. It's AMI's contest. They are the promoters. Muscular Developement has Victor and several other Pro's under exclusive contract. If Victor was allowed to win, FLEX or Muscle Fitness wouldn't be able to have the MR. Olympia on their cover.

I was never a big fan of Ronnie Coleman’s physic but for me Jay is even worst and indeed the worst MR Olympia ever starting with his air.
For me the highlight of this Olympia was the judges not calling out Jay and wolf for comparasion and jay running from wolf on stage.
Take a look at jay and wolf doing most muscular, you can see it all on wolf and nothing on jay.

Everyone is melting down, this is fuggin hillarious. Did you actually think it was going to go another way? Jay had the most mass and brought the most complete package. No one showed up 100%. There was no dominant competitor on stage.
Some guys were smooth, some were flat, some were conditioned but too small. It's funny how you pick and choose the pics that make Jay look bad. There are some pics of all the competitors Vic too that look like $hit. Alot of people have been talking about veins. Veins don't win shows. Dennis looked great, he was vascular, but hardly bigger than Jay and he is quite a bit taller. That tells the Judges that he needs a bit more size. Kind of Like how Jay beat Ronnie last year, He out massed him. He brought a bigger back on a shorter guy.
As far as Ronnie Coleman talk about a fall from grace. He completely ruined his legacy by being defeated and then coming back the next year and not even making Top 3. Hulkster is going to commit suicide. I like how he's still living in the past posting pics from 2001. Get over it. The past is the past now is now. And last night Jay was the best on stage.
Ronnie Coleman is a done deal......

I've said it once...........I will say it again. These guys today do not match up to the level set by the 1970's champs. What's with all that fake tanning shit anyways. Looks really dark and takes away from any definition one might have.
As for Jay winning..........well it's gotta be political right? It always is and has not always been about the best built guy, never was actually. The "Olympia" is not a fair show. It's all about greasing up magazine sells. The Olympia was created at or around the same time ol' Joe watisname's magazines where loosing their steam in sales. So you create something new and look for a new champion to sell the mags with. Hence Arnold, Arnold, Arnold. Why do you think Arnold won the 1980? How many more magazines where sold with Arnold on the cover? How many would sell with any other competitor from the 1980 show? About a million times less that's the difference.

Jay looked like he was 8 weeks out. Wolf had him beat on conditioning and symmetry, Jay of course was bigger but I've seen guys come in fifth in the Mr. LA contest that were more ripped than him. If this was Jay's first Mr. O, he wouldn't have even made the top 6. |

Solomon, Chick, Shawn, 240, and everyone else trying to make someone else happy is gonna toe the company line and say Cutler deserved to win.
Fortunately, the majority of us free-thinkers at Getbig have only our mothers to answer to, and therefore, we can call it as we see it.
