I wouldn't necessarily buy things just because it's on a shelf in LA.   ::)

LA & NYC (for example) are two places in the country where you buy clothes that are not 'trend' but are in trend shops.  They hope idiots buy them (because they pay a lot for it) & hope they have no fashion sense or style.  In turn, you look like a fruit to the rest of the country (except to other idiots that are into being different & away from trend).

For a short time....I had to take a stupid job in the clothing industry.  People in LA & NYC are the biggest idiots because they'll buy anything if the price tag is high enough.  The easiest people to find clothes for are the wealthy.....they'll buy anything off the hanger thats completely hideous, no style, & a heavy price tag.

I learned LONG ago as a US marine, that  fancy degrees, titles and other pompous crap don't always spell success or measure the worth of a man.

I also have worked with and known plenty of highly educated pompous asses.

Don't get me wrong, I worked hard to earn my degrees , but , think my worth is based on my actions in life.

Bob is right that most of you guys will be wearing whatever NY or LA is wearin now. And many of those trends will be either gay or black. Not all are good and some are down right ugly, but none the less they will be copied eventually.
