Let's not even get into the judging, gay for pay, drug use, etc.   

I thought the lighting at the MR O was terrible. Why have a mostly black background when everyone is either black or really really tan?  Doesn't add up.

Bodybuilding will survive the Olympia. But will the Olympia survive itself? Is it more than just a Weider incestuous lovefest? Is BB a joke or just the Olympia?

I would never pay the outrageous prices to see the Olympia. Who really cares anymore about the pros? It's all gotten way beyond the perfect physiques of the 70's/80's/90's. It's so far from what it used to represent in aesthetics, it's turned off many longtime fans. Why waste your money to see the same guys competing & winning year after year? Interest has really died down for pro bodybuilding.

It's not worth discussing. Because there is always going to be GREATER demand to see the bigger guys at BB shows everywhere except your little fantasy land. Which is why if the IFBB turned it's nose up at outrageous physiques all that would happen is that NABBA or another federation would fill the vacuum.

Great point, I was there within the first twenty rows and Eddie Abbew disappeared.  BTW, I met the man and he is a cool cat.  Wold was also very cool.  I met a couple of pros on the floor, and this Russian dude was absolutely sick with size, but I don't think his shape is all that (Mishkin, I think).  Regardless, fun show, but the call for Jay was complete BS.  Should have Vic, Dex and Wolf; all three were light years better.

I don't know man.  I was with the press and they were pissed.  Literally, Abbew said it is all political BS.  Everybody there agreed.  I spoke with National level competitors and they opined the same.  Jay was gifted.  The show was in his hometown and Muscletech was the main sponser; it was obvious.  If you believe he looked good let me get you some glasses.  He was not the Jay of years past.  Wolf mauled him.  Vic destroyed him.  A complete joke.
