Even if Jay were spot on and deserved to win the show, most of you would still be on here bitching that he did not deserve it

Finally someone speaks the truth.

What about all those "bodybuilding is dying" threads?! When bob chick clearly said at the O that the tickets were SOLD OUT. theres no indication anywhere that bbing is dying, in fact its progressing. And the physiques this year looked amazing!  Or the amount of people that are saying that all these new bodybuilders are so close to death. In reality that was way more true in the 80s and 90s wiht all the extreme dihuretics abuse.

Theres so much hate here, and not against members and kamali like normal. I'd say 99 percent of the threads on the first page of the gossip section are all super negative. People need to smile more, or jerk off or something who knows:P

I don't think the pro's are really "safe" but their risk is no greater than alot of steroid "junkies" who never get close to their level of developement. You see not all steroid users are "real men".

In fact the vast majority seem to be a load of pathetic looking pantywaists who 6 years later are still waiting for the test to really start kicking in. Just take a look around the forum if you don't believe me...

Arms that look as if they are made of play doh shouldn't win the O.

People are reporting many empty seats this year, and I know I have been to the O a few times and read online how it was 'sold out' when I saw with my own eyes numerous empty seats - tons of them. Not trying to be negative here, just being factual...

Thats fair enough, but my main point still stands, that these 'bodybuilding is dead' threads are totally make believe and baseless.

I was there, at the Orleans, at the show.  The athletes were top notch, the show was ... well ... amateurish. I felt like I was at a high school talent show. Dead air between competitors, and weird comments by the emcees about the show being sold out when it was obvious that there were empty seats. Huh?? Then Jay made a comment on stage after he was awarded the title where he mentioned Victor and said Victor was better than he was the night before after pre judging. Did that mean Jay made some kind of miraculous "come from behind" victory in the finals? Look at the photos. I think Jay is soft. I can't believe the judges picked him to win. As I look at it, bodybuilding is not dying, but the Olympia is. I think I shelled out 200 bucks to watch a big Joe Wieder advertisement. Even the expo was weak. It felt smaller and lacked punch.
But the best part of the show was the competitors, especially Dennis Wolf and Victor. That Victor, what a class act!

No wonder he holds onto water a little bit he's wearing 10 coats of Jan Tana. His skin looks like antique leather upholstry.

Jay was only 2 points ahead of victor after the prejudging. I was there in the orleans as well, the show was not sold out, even bob said that it was at least 5 times. I like bob and shawn, but they need new emcees, they should bring triple H back. ANd the show was a big joe weider advertisement, especially since the show was called "Joe Weider Olympia Weekend". But the athletes were top notch. I thought that jay deserved his win, he was the best on stage.

They mean that ALL tickets were sold. In the end though, some people have transportation break down, an emergency may come up, some folks show up way late, and other stuff like that...but all the tickets were sold.

This year was much more filled than in 05 when I went and many more seats were taken up. Obviously though, not everyone was PHYSICALLY in the arena.
