i thought that it was entirely completely awesome. downtown helsinki was really cool. i loved turku. that city is just ME. i felt really at home and happy while i was there...the scenery, and archeticture, and everything was awesome.  i loved the coffee shops, the gym i trained at, and the public transportation.

as far as "touristy" things go...i went to a sauna that was amazing. soooo HOT. and you walk outside and can jump into the baltic sea. which was COLD!!1 so cold.


the cathedral in turku is a must if you ever are there.

What does your girl think about Finland?
She's probably hanging out mostly with erasmus students ? (From other European countries)...

I've been to Helsinki, and it's a nice city. Strange architecture. But from what i've heard Finland is a bit lame. Next time you're in Helsinki you should take the ferry and visit Tallinn (Estonia) for 1-2 days. Really nice city.
