Shawn has to do what's best for him and his family.  If he's able to still get a good paycheck from bodybuilding, keep a decent profile in the sport he helped build, and share what he knows about the sport, I say go for it.  

Of course there will be some Getbig ribbing for it - but that's just part of the sport and the hype machine that makes speedo posedowns tolerable - the storylines that accompany it.  Shawn gives it out, but he can take it too.  

Should be an interesting story to follow!

Shawn's being quiet.  So there is something to it.  Accuse Bob or Cutler or anyone else of it, and they'll laugh you out the store.  Shawn would deny it in a minute if it wasn't true.

Now comes the real issue - if he's signed, why they not saying anything?

If he doesn't deny it, it is because he WANTS a deal.

Good mags can charge more for ad space, more ads tends to mean it's a lower quality and less popular mag. Look at a Motortrend or National Geographic, there is more ads in MD then total pages in either mag.

If it's true that he's signing a multiyear deal with MD, he should get our props.  He's making mad money from the sport, son!  Vyotech is a great company and things will always be things.  Give Shawn the love he has coming - he's still promoting this great sport after all these years!
