Just wanted to let you and the readers know that I am getting ready to kick some major ass here at this weekends world championships in Korea. I will try my best to bring US home a gold medal. I have been here in Jeju for the past three days and will hook up with my team tomorrow morning when they arrive. Wish me and the rest of the team some luck cause we are gonna need it to beat these other 70 countries. I would like to wish Chris Faildo and the American team good luck in the competition in Jeju, Korea! Today is the weight ins for the event! More info on the IFBB World Bodybuilding event... The venue site is the Jeju Halla Stadium, which holds 6000 seats. The Organizing Committee of the Korean Bodybuilding Federation (KBBF), together with the Jeju Bodybuilding Federation (JBBF) and the Special Self-Governing Province of Jeju under the leadership of his Excellency the Governor Mr. Kim Tae-Hwan, wishes to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to all National Federations to participate in the 61st IFBB Men’s World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships and IFBB International Congress in Jeju City, Republic of Korea, October 25-29, 2007. Formerly known to Europeans as Quelpart, Jeju-do is a volcanic island created entirely from volcanic eruptions approximately 2 million years ago, during the time period from the Tertiary to the beginning of the Quaternary period. It consists chiefly of basalt and lava with 360 small volcanoes and dominated by the extinct volcano Mt. Halla-san in the center of the island. More info, go to http://www.ifbb.com/insprep.php?contest=jeju

actually, it's only the 48th World Amateur Championships, formerly called the IFBB Mr Universe. there were 18 IFBB Mr Universe between 1959 and 1977, then 29 IFBB World Amateur Championships between 1978 and 2006 for a total of 47. So that would make 2007 the 48th. And even then, the first four were not amateur events. The only international contests held by the Weiders prior to 1959 were the 1948 Eastern North America, the 1949 North American, and the 1950 Eastern America. The IFBB held no contests between 1953 and 1958. I know, I point this out every year, but only because they keep lying about every year.

milos.. what will the doping test prove?.. no offense but, we all know that the top guys are beating the test.. so it just comesdown to beating the test.. unless you think that some will fail and be covered up.. either way, all are "cheating" in a way.. beating the test is just part of competing.. but, those who are dumb enough to not be able to pass the test should be made public unless "someone" gets him to be "passed".. if ya know what i mean.. but, they wouldnt do that now would they??

Where's Paul Chua? Keeping a low profile? Usually this crook would be strutting around ala Don King, telling all and sundry that he's the one resposible for bringing the World Championship to Jeju! My prediction? There won't be much shocks results wise for two reasons. One, he has no absolute control over the judging. Two, as he's wont to do, he'd try to ingraciate himself with the higher echelons in the IFBB so you can bet that he won't dare cross his bosses in the IFBB and play out the competitors from the US of A.Thirdly, there's no money in these "World Championships" as Asian Governments could care less for these IFBB events! Just wait for the Asian Games and the SEA Games - that's when the base instincts in this crook will surface and he'll succumb to the temptation of rich pickings from bribes.bribes, glorious bribes! I say, let a chorus of jeers and boos ring out when Paul Chua's name is ever announced during the event by the MC. Further, those in Jeju who believe and let him in this cause should make up Xeroxed leaflets containing the web address www.arrestpaulchua.com and leave small stacks in places where BB's will gather - hotel lobby, cafe, auditorium, weigh in center, etc. Expect that Paul Chua's lackeys and lapdogs will try to retrieve these leaflets so leave just enough so that you can keep replenishing the stacks from time to time! We can beat this man at his game and give him a taste of the unstoppable force of right over wrong!

He is the higher echelons in the IFBB. He's the number 2 guy in the IFBB, the Executive Assistant to the President. There is only one person higher, the president for life, Rafael Santonja.

Very little IFBB potential. Hardly a gut or gyno in sight. This guy looks impressive.

'There is only one person higher, the president for life, Rafael Santonja."
Forgaty, I used "higher echelons", not "highest echelons"That means that Paul Chua will be grovelling and polishing the boots of the likes of Jim Manion, Tony Blinn, Steve Weinberger and heck, even lick the booties of Sandy Ranelli. These were the people who were willing to do his bidding each and every time, including the suspension of Milos!

"WHY YOU KEEP BITCHING BOUT HIM MAN??!!"
Asian Sensation man, go lick an ice cream to stop your meltdown. Are you Paul Chua's lackey or lapdog?
You'd bitch bout him too, if you knew the careers and lives that this crook has destroyed - all in ruthless pursuit of the mighty greenback! You'd bitch too if you knew how powerless Asian bodybuilding is, in the face of the raw and naked ambition of a crook who'd nearly reached the pinnacle of IFBB leadership, untrammelled and unchecked by the forces of public opinion!
Thank God for the internet and fora such as this. Knowledge is power! We'd continue to spread the word about this crook any way we can, to stop him in his tracks...to save and repair the train wreck that is Asian Bodybuilding!!!

if they're doing his bidding, like suspending Milos, that seems to indicate that he's the one with the power. People with power don't grovel and polish boots, but the other way around.
