Fogarty my dear. Some people in power like to have their boots licked, their car doors opened and generally their egos boosted. Paul is a master at this.
This guy grovels...he'd do anything to manipulate someone - in some ways, this is a technique employed by many a courtesan to get the Emperor to do her bidding. In that sense you are right - manupulators such as this do have power, power of the vicarious kind!
Paul Chua's hormones must be highly estrogenic, considering his physique! Yet this fraud get Wikipedia to describe him as "an internationally reknowned bodybuilder", This fat softie of an IFBB VP has never touched a weight in his life! He wormed his way into BB as a former Trade Union official and Secretary of a small badminton (as sissie as they come) club! It does show the discernment of the IFBB bigwigs.

Rafael Santonja is not IFBB President for life. Ben Weider is honorary president for life.

Rafael Santonja is not IFBB President for life.
it was sarcasm, but it's pretty much true. Ben Weider was president from the beginning until he decided to step down, which is a pretty good definition of president for life. (And no one ever ran against him.) Manion has been president of the NPC since the beginning, and will be until he decides to step down. Again, president for life. Santonja will be president till he decides to step down, president for life.

Go to http://www.myanmar.gov.mm/NLM-2001/enlm/Novem26.htm#(1) to see for yourself, our heroes Paul Chua and the then Executive Assistant to the IFBB Prez, Rafael Santonja presenting "IFBB Gold Order Awards" to the murderous leaders of the Myanmar regime & military junta, the pariahs of the International community! These two have absolutely no scruples and I wouldn't be surprised to see them presenting IFBB Gold Order Awards to other murderers such as Osama bin Laden, Idi Amin, Sadam Hussein, Hitler, et al., if any of the aforenamed were to offer them support to "promote the honorable sport of bodybuilding"! Humbugs!!! Now it figures, why Paul Chua is such an "untouchable" in the IFBB.

From Chris...
Aloha Everyone, I am still in Korea relaxing after a long week. By now you may have heard that I did not place in the top 6 at the Championships. I am very disappointed to say the least but happy that the diet is over. I felt really good about my chances after pre-judging as I was called out with the top guys. I really dont know why I did not place because I looked really good. I'll be back home in a few days. Thanks for all your support. Chris Faildo

"WHY YOU KEEP BITCHING BOUT HIM MAN??!!"
Asian Sensation man, go lick an ice cream to stop your meltdown. Are you Paul Chua's lackey or lapdog?
You'd bitch bout him too, if you knew the careers and lives that this crook has destroyed - all in ruthless pursuit of the mighty greenback! You'd bitch too if you knew how powerless Asian bodybuilding is, in the face of the raw and naked ambition of a crook who'd nearly reached the pinnacle of IFBB leadership, untrammelled and unchecked by the forces of public opinion!
Thank God for the internet and fora such as this. Knowledge is power! We'd continue to spread the word about this crook any way we can, to stop him in his tracks...to save and repair the train wreck that is Asian Bodybuilding!!!
