You are out of your mind if you don't think the NABBA guys don't use insulin! Including the one pictured above. I think this look is more due to extreme diuretic use, in combination with everything else of course, than the avoidance of insulin.

yes, I've met Leo in person many times over the last few years at NABBA, WABBA, and Coloso contests in Mexico.   and in person he looks like all the other GH and insulin bodybuilders, with the protruding stomach, etc.  But he really did get his conditioning right for this most recent NABBA Universe.

there are plenty of them.  you don't hear about them much because you only hear about IFBB bodybuilders, and the IFBB is not very strong in Mexico.

Back on Nov 3-4 2007 in Mexico City, WABBA Mexico had their national contest in conjunction with Musclemania Latin America.   Coloso decided to hold their big event the same weekend.  IFBB then decided to also hold their national contest the same weekend in Mexico City, and also announced that anyone who enters the other events would be banned for life from the IFBB.  (Conveniently, WABBA and Coloso were both on the 9 subway line, so I could go back and forth easily.  IFBB was out in the suburbs, so I didn't get to go.)     WABBA and Musclemania had about 120 contestants (including Bikini and Model search).   Coloso had over 200 contestants.  IFBB a few dozen.  Oh and Leo Flores guest posed at Coloso.  So did Gustavo Badell.  (see the youtube link in my first posting above)

He speaks spanish, hispanic has become a more cultural term as of late linking all spanish speaking people with different cultures, hispanic has been the all encompassing catchphrase for all spanish speaking people/countries regardless of race.  Racially your boy Martinez is Mulato/black, this Leo Flores is indigenous/ amerindian.  Racially hispanics are the people of spain and their descents.  Put it this way you wouldn't call an english speaking black person anglo so why call a spanish speaking indigenous a hispanic?
