Good article on Pudgy Stockton
« on: January 08, 2008, 12:05:01 PM »
The LA Times did a good article on Abbye 'Pudgy' Stockton (excerpted with good pictures by Insidebodybuilding blog).  She was definitely ahead of her times.

It depends because eras change.
Pudgy is hot to me, she came out of the Marilyn Munroe era.
All things get extreme and every era thinks the next one is to extreme and the previous one not extreme enough.
People probably thought the same of Pudgy.
I am sure FBB in 20 years time will think the FBB of today a bunch of wooses.

Definitely prefer Pudgy over this:

I don't think many man like this type of female muscle (beyond schmoes).

Myself, I prefer strong yet very feminine females, like Lena Johannesen and Rachel McLish.  Unfortunately, even current female figure competitors are way too lean when they compete.  And many get their boobs done way too big!  (I am sure that others will come back with, "boobs can never be too big", but it always looks bad when a figure competitor's breasts are out of proportion with the rest of their body.)
