My religion?  None.  My philosophical viewpoint would be rationalist.

Your assertion is that anything legal is therefore moral.  So if congress passed a law stating that it is required to kill babies, would that therefore be moral according to your standard?

You are also asserting that the drug war is a failure because people oppose it.  I never stated why it was a failure, simply stating the fact that it is.  When public policy is a failure it needs to be revised, no matter the cause of those failings.

Dunno if it would be moral or not, but i would surely follow the law no matter if its right or wrong, as long as I dont have problems, its ok.

Public policy should be revised, yes, because its failing, and death penalty should be enforced and many things would change here.

I agree with Matt C here.  The law does not determine the boundaries of morality.  Slavery was once legal but is not moral.  It was illegal to help runaway slaves.  Yet that is a moral act.
