That is not an accurate competitor list.

From IRONMAN's Lonnie Teper:
"With a couple of days left until the deadline of January 4, Gustavo Badell has turned in his contract; I'll let you know in my blog after Friday if the other major stars who have said they are doing the show--Toney Freeman, Phil Heath, Silveo Samuel, David Henry and Will Harris, to name a few--follow suit. Henry told me this week he's in for sure; gentleman Omar Deckard will be back as well. Shaping up to be a great line-up."

I thought that myself when I read article about the 2008 Ironman on the ironman pro web site Phil Heath name got mention in the article along with Tony Freeman name as well.But I am going pick Tony Freeman to win.

After winning last year, I would think that Freeman would sit this one out. The person who needs to really redeem himself is David Henry.  He kicked ass at the Olympia but at the Iron Man last year he dissapointed.  Henry was supposed to give Freeman a run for his money last year but it didnt happen. 

I thought Will Harris was doing the show?  If he was, I would be really watching out for him.

I'd disagree. Toney has to redeem himself from his last show (Olympia), which I'm sure he will. David redeemed himself at the Olympia and showed he can hold his own against guys with more size. David might not be the biggest guy on stage but when he's in condition watch out.

Harris is doing the show and if he brings the conditioning he had at the Europa/Olympia will be top 5.

I'm pretty sure when Heath was guest posing in wisconsin that he said he was doing the ironman.  Wonder what happened there.   Also, when did Denis Sergovsky turn pro?
