My fellow expert, Ron "Yogi" Avidan posted his thoughts on the newest Phil Heath photos:http://www.getbig.com/headlines/2008/01/15/ironman-pro-phil-heath-game-over-pics/I would agree with one thing Yogi had to say. Phil looks like a cartoon character and this is just under 5 weeks out. http://www.flexonline.com/news/286
Those looked shopped....
Heath is peaking too early. he'll be flat at the arnold. quote me on it.
unpredictable response from a loyal MD supporter. He is focused on the IRONMAN, how about we watch that show first. I took the photos and they are not shopped but yet another predictable response. A few training videos will be posted up along the way on FLEXONLINE. They will speak for themselves.
1. He'll pull out of the Ironman after spilling over2. He'll take 3rd at the Arnold (a gift for the gift) after coming in flat as a pancake. his stress levels will be thru the roof like last year. he's just a little kid still... he got rattled in 2007.
Phil has never been 'off'.
he was skinny and soft at last year's arnold. as the day went on, he got stressed and looked bad during finals.
Watch the 07AC Heath posing routine. I thought he was in great condition until they zoomed in and he was very soft looking. Personally I think he needs to focus more on achieving a granite hardness more so than just adding more and more mass. He might end up making the same mistake Flex did.
Grainy is genetic. Ronnie was never grainy but Dorian was but Ronnie was far from soft. If your glutes and hams are striated you really can't get any harder because they are last to come in. Phil's condioning is like Flex's at his best which was not grainy but hard as nails with the great shape.
