He'd repped that kinda weight before, so I guess he felt safe and payed for it. Being a few weeks out and being really low on calories probably sapped his strength, and led to the accident.
If what Johnny Vegas is saying is true, then Nasser was probably off cycle and was battling some kinda lowerback or knee injury. We all know that he's capable of more than 405 for reps lol.. During 95-97, Nasser had some of the largest quads of any pro. Bigger than Yates, Levrone, and on par with Dillet's.
