He was never convicted. His wife did that because he was renting out their condo for free and was gonna get caught.

You have to show "just cause" for a restraining order, dingleball, you can't just walk into court and say I want a restraining order against so and so...

And how do you rent out a condo for free?

Doesn't matter if he was convicted, she went through the trouble to prove to a court that there was a necessity for a restraining order, she must have feared for her life.......poor girl.
