Yes, he was of the school of thought of nothing but water, fish, salad and vinegar befor a show....and then would binge after on like 12 restaurant entrees, going from restaurant to restaurant...

I would imagine it was a soft 270 if that is in fact true.

There was a picture posted a few years back of Mike in 1987 that looked like he never trained a day in his life. Apparently Jeff King really went downhill by 1987 also and apparently looked like nothing too. I would like to see these pictures if anyone has them.

I competed against (got killed by) Jeff King in 1980...I was 16, he was 19...cleaned up in both teen and open in the Central Western CT Champs(he really had no business being in it)....today he is a trim 190-200 and is a physical therapist

Did HIT for a year, average results gained a bit of weight fat not doing volume but strength levels stayed about the same lost about 20% of muscle but if you are only going to work out 3 times a week for half and hour at a time its worth a go.

Mentzer was my pick for the 1980 MrO Dickerson looked good,Zane was sick and down in weight,Arnold was not at his best ,atleast it had more integrity than the 1981MrO

great bber,philosopher and very human.my friend train under his coaching for 2 month in 1992.we still use his training methods to break the pleatue.
