100% fact. He got multiple felonies and several misdemeanors for which he has been in prison since early December dismissed outright, and was left with possession of frickin' Viagra, for which he got unsupervised probation. He musta had a good lawyer, huh?
Shawn Chapman is nothing special.
What most likely happened is the DA looked at the charges, knew the case was way over charged and there was no way in hell the charges would stick (DA's are elected on their conviction rate-if not 95%+ chance of conviction-no charges go to trial), so they did a fast and painless plea bargain to a bullshot misdemeanor.
It was similar to what happened to Milos, that case against him was a joke and the US Attorney would never have gotten a conviction-so he did a bullshit misdemeanor with Milos-case over.
If he did not plead to a felony, then the felony charges were extremely weak.
