My arms are poor.

Should I train triceps, THEN chest, on Chest/tricep day?
Would pre-exhausting triceps first make them work harder during chest?

Same with back/biceps.

thanks!
Work on your diet and push yourself harder during workouts.  These small adjustments in your workout routine don't do all that much, believe me.  Take Krealkalyn, that should give you some more size.

You're right, actually, he should super set tris with biceps, then do monster double sets of chest and back.
Please, don't talk to me about real gains guy.  All with 100 posts too.

I outlined for him a routine that would revolutionise his arms and give him steroid like gains.

No acknowledgement.

I would strongly disagree there.  I've tried many routines.  Switching things up does nothing more than keep it a little bit more entertaining while in the gym.  I've made my best gains keeping the same exact routine for over a year straight.  I've also switched things up from time to time...no difference at all.  Look at Arnold, he would do the same routine all the time.

i can only make it to the gym 4 days a week.

if i give arms their own day, i never train shoulders :(

Doesn't Dexter still train 3 days a week? What does his training split look like?

actually supersetting bis and tris is pretty good you get a wicked pump, I also used to superset chest and back...your routine should all depend on where you are at: beginner, intermediate or advanced, A good intermediate work out, Chest and back followed by arms and legs the next day, one day off, and repeat, then take 2 days off I can elaborate on my old exercises for this routine if you want me to, if that dont do it you might wanna get to the gym more its not about FINDING time its about MAKEING time ;D

Basic principle :train the larger or weaker muscle first !

4 days? ok, no problem.

Day 1 : Back and light biceps
Day 2:  Chest and light tris

On both these days you do the main bodypart first and finish off with the bis and tris

Day 3: Legs and shoulders
Day 4: Arms
Haha, typical rookie routine, all very well if you want the usual massive chest/ narrow shoulders, combined with no legs look.

I'd say, chest and back on the same day, old school arnie style, then arms/legs/shoulders all on their own day. Otherwise your legs get seriously short-changed. All depends on the individual I suppose but most would say legs need their own day.

this is a routine that i used when i was alot younger and hadnt been lifting as long as I have been now. I didnt do as much per body part, mainly big compound movements followed by one maybe two isolation exercises. For arms and legs I did squats, shoulder presses, leg curls, weighted dips, leg extensions or hacks, barbell curls, calf raises, and lateral raises.

Just do your benching wide a wider grip than usual, that takes out the Triceps completly.

complety ??   i don`t think so.....there is no pressing movement without Triceps or front shoulder where working too (of course, the degree will change how much the triceps is working)

I train triceps before my chest workout, but 3 or 4 days before...... ;)

yeah completly was the wrong word... but to an extend that it becomes not that much of an issue.
To my opinion most people bench a lot with their Tricpes... you ask
them to do the same kinda weigt with a wider grip and they cannot do it.

how old?  how much do you weigh and what do your arms measure?

you can't have huge arms if you only weigh in at 160lbs that's why I ask for the weight and arm measurement
