I dont think a school picked him up. Rivals said some SEC schools were looking at him but got the feeling he did not get a free ride? Could be totally wrong...

I spent an entire day with Victor (god i don't know when now/maybe early 90's???)
we were at my Buddy Freddy's gym in Lynn Massachusetts (we later took Victor to "The Palace" the nite-club i was working in at the time)...hung out on Revere Beach a bit as well

Victor was always eating ..............(Take-out from Restaurants/Chicken and rice)
every 2 hours (he could eat 2 of those white foam containers of chicken and rice at a time)
no clue of the calories but Freddy said he ate him out of house and home!
(Victor was over 300 lbs at the time............which was unheard of back then)
