....For Islam teaches that this life we live is worthless, to be thrown away for some weird and false belief that life is meaningless and that one must live for an afterlife that we know does not exist(in Islamist terminology, anyways).

Christianity operates along those same lines.  That's why religions that emphasize an afterlife are necessarily decadent to this life.

lol They're generally more sucessful here, so they're less like to be detached from their faith. But of course they'll retain certain things, which aren't really extreme or dangerous.

We dont really know the extent of what these muslims are thinking.   All religions will be under attack by the U.N. soon....IMO.
