Phil Heath is definitely the real deal, but comparing him to Dorian at this stage of his development is not really fair. I saw the 97 O and anyone who was there can attest to Dorian, even at his worst, destroying the competition-Dorian is a super wide man, with unparalleled hardness. Phil's genetics are very much like a slightly larger Shawn Ray, and I think seeing him standing next to Victor at the O will determine who will be the next multi Olympia winner (but likely not this year's winner). To put the level of competition into perspective, Phil on his best day (to this point) would've placed only 4th at the 99 English Gran Prix behind Coleman, Wheeler, and Levrone; and if Cormier had competed, he'd have been placed behind him as well.
