Its Robs fault with his liberal rhetoric, BTW Rob, Obomination is just trying to appeal to the right, today on the "Clinton News Network" better known as CNNn he said he would pull the troops out asap. Rob, he was rated the No. 1 lib in congress and you're defending him!!

You said obama wouldn't protect us.

I demonstrated a case where Bush and Obama would protect us (pakistan) but McCain would not.

No, nothing was demonstrated, like I said, Obama is just trying to appeal to the right, c'mon Rob, he's the biggest lib out there, that automatically makes him full of shit.

I'm talking facts.  Obama called for hitting targets in pakistan months ago, and was mocked by mccain.
Bush hit pakistan this week.  Obama was right - paki's govt is powerless to stop AQ, so we have to do it.

he's not trying to 'appeal to the right' - when he said it, the right mocked him and called him naive.  He was beaten badly for it.  Then, lo and behold, it appears he was RIGHT once again.

joe, you can use phrases like "biggest lib out there" and "automatically full of shit"..

But facts are facts.  Obama called for us to move into pakistan for AQ.  Repubs and mccain mocked him.
Bush did it and got #3 Al quaida man.

Just like with the Iraqi war, Obama had the foresight that mcCain did not.

"Bringing Our Troops Home
Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. He will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on al Qaeda.

"If al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq"     WTF? They already have.

Actually, Iraq no longer has a terrorist prob, Joe.  They have a gang problem.  Gangs of sunnis blowing up gangs of shiite, and any us or iraqi police that get in their way.

There is no AQ base in iraq.  Remember the terror camp videos from Afgh that the news played over and over?  That shit ain't happening in Iraq.  but it IS happening in Pakistan.

And obama said we'll keep forces on our bases, and he smells AQ, he'll kill them swiftly.  He might have apepared soft before, but he was out-hawking hilary at the last few debates.

We've won the war in iraq.  Both candidates - obama and mccain - say they will pull US combat forces soon.  When you attack obama's position, you're attacking Mccain too!  They have identical positions.  Mccain just won't share his numbers yet.

So if they're identical on iraq...  and Obama is TOUGHER on AQ in Pakistan than Mccain is.

By the way, joe, the white house said LAST YEAR - the #2 man at the pentagon said - that we'll scale back forces in october 2008 (right before the election).

That was all over the politics board last year.  bush been planning this all along.  Milk the spending until the last minute, then declare victory so the war isn't an issue in the nov election.

Both candidates know it too... they're taking near-identical positions on Iraq.

The only problem is, your boy McCain is soft on terrorism in Pakistan, and Obama/Bush are all about taking out AQ anywhere in the world.

Bush just reinforced this - said in press conference that we should have control in iraq, in all key areas, by october 2008.

they knew this a year ago.

either they have the most amazing predicting ability... or the war is just about milking the war treasury til the last minute.

Whatcha think?
