Load your photo into microsoft paint.  Then pull down the "image" tool bar.
Click on "stretch/skew",  if you shrink your photo's dimensions 50% in both the x/y axis, it will shrink the file to one quarter what it was before.  To shrink the file by half, shrink the photo dimensions by 71%.

He posted his pics earlier today.  He already figured it out.  but thanks for playing anyway.
