It depends on the criteria for the "best".  Now, for me personally, I think the first requirement is not missing bodyparts a la Dexter Jackson.  He has good calves (I've got one of his DVD and they are there) for the everyday guy.  However, when he is on stage it looks like they aren't there at all.  Branch has a tremendous back but on stage it looks like the lower part is too thin.  Needs some Kai Greene or even Heath lower lats to look complete. 

I do see what Squad is saying though.  If you judge by the least weakness, it was probably Heath 1 and then Warren 2 and God I hate to say it, but Dexter 3 little shit .  Taking into account conditioning, you could make a case for Branch Warren to be 1st. 

The judges like superb upper body and give less attention to the develop of the legs.  Note to those competing   I've seen enough NPC shows 1-5 to tell you right now the legs are judged last until the Nationals...especially the calves.  Lol, it is crazy but...I would give to Branch if I was judge because he is white and has less genetic potentail haha!  Take that niggas!

i think this was branchs best overall package to date.hes improved his back and has alot better lower lat detail.i do think his back should be a focus now.from what i hear the man does what he has to with dosages.i hope nothing happpens serious healthwise.
Heath just keeps getting better.more size and and everything. very impressed.
Dexter?he looks great but hasnt made many dramtic improvments.
to me all this should be about making improvments to what you have.

I think Branch was very good... the guy is big as a house and friggn hard as nails... he has a "working man" look much like Dorian (although Dorian had in my opinion the perfect mix of the round aesthetics and what I call "The Sickness".. a hybrid so to speak)... Gaspari was another with this look... But there is that "look" that some guys have that always makes the difference... Its a full... round muscle belly look that can NOT be gained by any amount of work n the gym... guys with very good "hormone genes"..ie. they respond VERY quickly to pretty much any AAS seem to have this look... Phil definitely has this look as does dex... I personally like the look Branch brings... I wold much rather have the grainy look and would gladly sacrifice some aesthetics to get it... (if I ever diet all the way back down that is)... That being said... Branch will be rewarded if he continues to bring the blue collar look..

And is it just me or is Kai not the greasiest looking mofo on the stage... Respect... but DAMN man... get a towel

One thing about branch is he always brings it he's always dry and conditioned, but he is too blocky and his physique is not asthetically pleasing he got what he deserved the "most muscular" he does have a blue collar look though tries really hard to bring his best package but he wasn't born with the best genetics like most on stage are. I'm dissapointed in Gustavo what happened to his physique

Branch deserved where he placed, thick and dense yes but the lack of zero lower back detail amongst other areas stood out HUGE compared to the top 3.
