Why someone doesn't come up with a scheme to make money off this is beyond me...What if we set up an open Paypal account to pay the highest bidder to go talk to DA...Nothing physical but if it happens, then it happens...I'm sure if the paypal account got up large enough, we would have many takers...

I am not here to pass judgment on Derek. He is an adult living in a free society. Derek is capable of making his own choices.

Bottom line, we may not like everything that is Derek. However, he is a unique identity. He operates very effectively and successfully in what is a 'fickle industry'.

By Derek's own admission, he is happy, healthy and wealthy. He enjoys strong and devoted support from family, fiance, friends and fans. I say good luck to the guy.

Bottomline, Derek is a 'crucial piece' in the overall marketing strategy of MD. Blechman himself, describes Derek as somebody that is irreplaceable.

The overall success of this publication/media phenomenon is Blechman. However, without identities like Derek, this conglomerate would be languishing in multi media abyss!
