As much as I want to be impartial, I have to fully aknowledge that Rusty presented at that paticular show a physique vastly superior to Chick from any point of view...I do like what chik brings to the stage but Rusty , although far from 100 % is plain and simply better. But is not for me to decide, there was a few judges on that day that gave Bob 1st so we gotta rolll in the history books with that. Sad.

who was that, your friends on the judging panel? Tamali? Tom Kidneys? your parents?

Gee, wonder why the REAL experts al had me winning easily? Rusty was placed down for the same reason he never won the Nationals, USA,beat me in ANY show we face each other, or placed in any pro show...he was smooth, especially in the prejudging....no other reason.

haha teenager, thanks. I'm 32, and that pic was about 4 months after I tore my knee and hadnt been working out, weighing about 295 there. Im at 260 now and lifting every day.

Still, epic gayness saving my pic for 2 years.

Bob probably did what most bodybuilders do. They get gear for their mates. Unless someone is doing this for everyone who asks then it is not dealing in my mind. I know that dealers are doing a service to those who want what they are providing so it is a fine line for sure.

As a gym owner of a gym where bodybuilders train I know that there is usually someone there who sells steroids and gear to the muscleheads. A lot of gym owners have made money selling gear to them. I have never done that. I referred young guys to a sports medicine clinic in Sydney where doctors got them the right stuff and supervised them. I discovered that when bodybuilders asked me questions about steroids they were already using them! They were just trying to see what my attitude was about them.

I have discovered on line that one of my members had been cited in a parliamentary enquiry into steroids held about 1992. Steroids became illegal in Australia for several reasons. Some doctors were prescribing drugs for healthy young men (bodybuilders and powerlifters) who were not ill. Some were prescribing drugs not meant for humans. These were the vet drugs that are popular with some muscleheads. The sports medicine doctors claimed they were minimizing the damage to guys who were using these drugs anyway. They were doing a service to these guys which was probably true but the medical committee didn't see it that way. You really have to wonder about bodybuilders who self-inject black market stuff that could be anything. Third, the doctors were profitting from these practices and were building up a clientel of many bodybuilders and athletes. The bodybuilders were telling the doctors what drugs they wanted which included vet stuff. Incredible to read what happened. It is all there on the internet.
