REALLY???  you can't leave me hanging.....

I'll say, Lincoln, Johnson, and Cleveland?  did I get any correct?

I think it took huge balls for Bob Paris to come out when he did....I remember reading Ironman and I read "i'm gay"...I was 16 at the time and I was shocked...but, it did not change how I looked at Paris (the GREATEST poser of all time...the routine at the 88 Olympia and 89 Arnold gave me goose bumps).....I do think it hurt his placings though....he got SCREWED at the Montreal show in 1991 where he was the clear winner...

did you know that there is a gay Mr. Olympia?

Yes, Bob's BB career ended when he came out.  It is widely known that Chris Dickerson is gay so I don't think the gay mafia will get me for acknowledging that publicly.

As for the Presidents, I'll let the suspense build for a while . . . but yes, you got at least one right.

Yes, you can.  We tend to think of sexual orientation as either/or  (gay or straight), but this is false.  A majority of health professionals now believe that sexuality exists on a continuum, say 1-10, where one is completely heterosexual, and 10 is completely homosexual.  Very few people are ones or tens.

Most of us can be a two or three, and live a completely happy heterosexual life, but this does not mean that you can't have an occasional homosexual thought, dream, fantasy, or experience.  You can, and still be straight.  The reverse is also true.

It is also true that some people are fours, fives, or sixes.  Although, I don't identify with it, I have met enough people to know that some people are legitimately bisexual and can enjoy sex with men or women.  They appreciate a sexy man or woman and would jump at either one.  Biologically speaking, I think this is more common than most people realize, but we are socialized to be one or the other.

Of course, we are all individuals born into a straight world, and we are all on different timelines in terms of development.  Different life circumstances can accelerate or extinguish an impulse to move in one direction or another.  Whether you realize it or not, you already know a number of bisexuals.

Remember, sex is both physical and mental.  If you're horny and find yourself in a scene similar to one featured in one of those Police Academy movies, you could receive a blow job from an anonymous mouth and enjoy it immensely.  Later, you may learn that the person who serviced you was a man or a transvestite.  Mentally, you might be upset, but physically you were satisfied.

On a fundamental level, I think physically, we are all bisexual (4,5, or 6), but mentally, most of us are two or threes or eight or nines.

Yeah, I believe this as well. Its really just society that makes homosexual activity taboo. Guys just don't excite me, but a mouth is a mouth as long as you didn't know whose it was.

THere are also a ton of guys who are bi, but keep it quiet because they don't want to be crucified. I've met plenty of "straight" guys who were on the make unbeknownst to their partners.  Scary.....

sexuality exists on a continuum, say 1-10, where one is completely heterosexual, and 10 is completely homosexual.

The Kinsey scale is 0-6.  Its been used in scientific journals for 50 years.  Those in the middle can choose to behave heterosexually or homosexually.  Those on the ends of the scale would have real trouble acting differently.

Openly gay bodybuilders include Chris Dickerson, Jim Morris, Jon Jordan, Bob Paris, Ron Teufel, Bob Birdsong, John Tristram.

Bruce Patterson is either gay or bisexual.  Chris Duffy is just strange.

Many more closeted bodybuilders, including many current pros.

As I posted once in Usenet's misc.fitness.weights: Bet you I've "dated" more IFBB pros than you.

thanks BayGBM....a lot of people here are VERY homophobic and need to relax....

question: Is bisexuality possible?  IMO, I think that you are either gay or straight (i'm talking about men)....I think being inside a woman is the GREATEST thing on earth (next to chocolate)...can you REALLY enjoy being with a woman as much as a man?

I agree with BMC. Pussy is heaven on earth!

For men -- no IMHO.

I agree.

I watched this show on HBO a week or so ago, I believe called Pornocupia. Anyways, there was this guy on the show who was married, but performed gay-for-pay. Not only that, but his "wife" would watch him perform.......WTF?

Now, first off, how the fuck can you perform a sexual act with another man unless you are attracted to them? There is no way in hell I personally could ever have a threesome (1 girl, 2 guys) while another guy is there. I don't think I could stay erect. Let alone touch another man.

2nd of all, how the fuck did this guy convince his "wife" to allow him to "work" with other men, if he's not gay?

BGM, any thoughts/input?

Would you shag a woman Bay?

If so, would you rather shag Nicole Bass than Monica Brant?

And also, that Dance instructor guy (Jae?) on the queer eye for the straight guy show (TV), seem a bit too interested in the girls. You think he shags 'em while cameras off? What does your gaydar tell you?

As I've noted previously, different life circumstances and can initiate, accelerate, or extinguish an impulse that you might not otherwise indulge.  Consider the well known example of prison rape.  90% of the men involved in this as perpetrators or victims are not homosexual, but man on man sex has become part of the culture of prison life.  In this setting sex is not about love or even being horny; it is primarily about power.

That said, I think bigmikecox is correct.  There is nothing particularly gay about 1 girl with 2 guys; the two guys simply focus on the girl.  It's worth remembering that in many places outside of the US, people do not have the sexual hang ups that we cling to.  In many places in Europe, for example, public nudity on a beach or in art is not a big deal.  In many gay clubs in Germany guys can openly have sex with each other without fear of a police raid.  In France, a politician having an affair is accepted as fact and no one is scandalized by it... in many ways Americans are sexually immature people.

As for how that guy could convince his "wife" to allow him to "work" with other men...?  It becomes a lot easier to understand if you stop projecting your own idea of married life onto other people.  The fact is there ARE bisexual people out there;  there ARE people who are swingers; there ARE people who have open relationships; and there are couples whose sex lives evolve over time and go in directions that are beyond your immediate experience.  Human sexuality (gay or straight) is far more diverse and complicated than conservatives would have you believe.

Again, I don't think I'm breaking any rules in observing that BB Chris Duffy has made gay porn; he is married to a woman and has worked as an escort on the side and his wife knows all about it.  I heard at one time, she help him book his appts. with male clients.

AMEN... thank you very much for posting that. For some reason  in this society people are just unable to comprehend that sometimes they way they define things is not the way others do.  Way too many sexual hang-ups here.

I, too, have a question for bigmikecox.  You previously said that "I think that you are either gay or straight (I'm talking about men)"

Why do you believe this?  Why does bisexuality among women seem more likely to you?  Do you have any gay friends that you routinely talk to?

It seems to me that a lot of straight people get one or two pieces of "gay info" from gossip, the media, etc, and construct a whole imaginary world of what it means to be gay based on very limited real information.  I have seen this among straight friends and even in my own family.

In the absence of empirical evidence, the idea that men would be more or less likely to be bisexual than women strikes me as silly.

I think alot of "straight" men think it is cool/okay for a woman to be bisexual, but have a problem with a man being bisexual.    I think their reasoning is from a personal sexual point of view.   They would join in with the women!

From a young age its drilled into men's head that two women together is "beautiful"....from movies to magazines that fantasy of having your wife/gf bring a girl home to you "right".....I do think its more socially acceptable for women to be bi than men....as far as me saying that you are gay or straight, its hard for me to imagine anything being as wonderful as being with a women....i'm not attacted to men so I think that's why I said its either one or the other..I just don't understand it....(not being attracted to a woman)......

I can apprecieate a great physique on a man...for example, Flex Wheeler had the perfect physique...I can look at Chris Duffy and be amazed how ripped his quads, glutes and hamstrings get and I was Bob Paris' biggest fan...i'm sure by me saying that some people on here would call me gay for being a fan of a gay BBer, but that's not the case....

I like women.........lots and lots of women.  But I get more flattered when I'm hit on by guys then by women.  It's kinda weird.

Maybe it's not so weird.  As I noted previously, sexuality exists on a continuum, say 1-10, where one is completely heterosexual, and 10 is completely homosexual.  Very few people are ones or tens.

Bi men are far more common than you think.  Ever troll around the chat rooms or groups on Yahoo, AOL, or MSN?  There are tens of thousands of bi-men in your city looking for action.
I agree with you totally, most guys will not admit it though. really who cares whos sucking you off as long as it feels good. I have been with guys that are "straight" and they usually come back for more but they are not gay.  No one makes mention that 2 women is fine but 2 guys scare them. Everybody loves to watch the chicks.

I got married 10 years ago and came out after my wife and i started threesomes. we have 2 kids and the job  I am in demands that i have a beard. my wife is ok with my gay life she indulges in women herself.  we no longer live together because i decide it was not fair to her or my kids. i live alone about 1 block from them. It seems to be working out.
I agree with bigmikecox even though he don't understand not being attacted to a women.  live and let live there is to much other shit going on to be concerned about.
btw I still like watching 2 chicks get it on.

I once asked him when he was gonna lose the gf and come out of the closet he said, "Remember I am basically a Hetero man that likes sex with men but emotional relationships with women....I can't see falling in love with a dude...That is where we are different..." Grin

aint that a crock. sounds scared to me emontionally men and men can identify with each other and women and women can identify with each other. think about it do you have more fun when your watching sports with the guys or shopping with your women.

You don't consciously decide to love someone. It just happens. In other words, you don't choose whom you love based solely on whom you identify with (which would be a conscious decision).

I can see the relevance of this guy's logic. Think about it in cheating terms. You have your wife (or steady gf whom you love) but you decide to bang another woman because it's thrilling. It is just SEX at the end of the day and you are still hopelessly attached and connected to the one you cheated on.
