Back Pumps
« on: May 05, 2008, 12:13:15 AM »
Anyone have any idea what the physiological cause of these are when on d-bol?  Mainly, why is it concentrated in the lower back and not other muscle groups?

I don't know if it's concentrated in the lower back. It's just that a pump in the lower back is painful and inhibits a bunch of movements. It literally hurts so much that it's hard to drive back from the gym sometimes. Anyone get it this bad? Buddy of mine had to drive to the side of the road and stand up for a while.  :D

The shin pumps can get bad too when you walk on the treadmill or where ever.

I've always gotten it pretty bad and it's always in my lower back.  Even on days when I'm doing just chest when I hop on the eliptical to do cardio, here comes the back pump!  Fucking retarded.  I'm standing there rubbing my back like a prego lady and everyone is staring at me, it's awesome.  I know people get the pumps in other parts.  I just never get it anywhere else except my lower back.

See, i'm quite the opposite! i get the pumps in my biceps, calves and forearms. sometimes when i do high rep deadlifts i get a bad lower back pump but that is rare. running is almost impossible when i'm on deca or dbol, my calves want to explode.

Deca, Dbol, Eq...all give me bicep pumps so bad i can barely even train arms. sometimes during bench presses my biceps would pump up so bad i had to stop the set. i have no idea why this happens, but it can change a workout very quickly.

when taking Dbol, i also get horrible bicep pumps when i'm taking a shower, even on none training days...sometimes they seem to "lock" up when in an odd position and it can be quiet painful.

Yea that's weird.  I've only had insane pumps in my arms like that when I first started IGF.  I had them so bad in my shoulders the first time I injected I had to stop working out for 15 minutes, I almost called it a day but I was only two exercises in.  I've just always been curious what the cause of it is or why it happens on certain compounds opposed to others for different people.

When I would take d-bol, that would happen to me. I would start getting ramped up on squats and then I would feel it it. Lower back would just lock up. It would get so bad I would try to sit in a chair or lay on the floor to get it to relax. Deadlifts were just as bad. It wasn't gradual either. It would just hit all at once and lock up, sometimes right in the middle of a set. I would be feeling my back more than my legs. Another thing is when I would roll my wraps up, my forearms would do the same. I would have to wait for a couple of minutes after I rolled them up so my hands would be loose enough to hold the bar. It looked cool though having my forearms swole and vainy.

The pumps can be intense but I've never had them as bad as some of you are talking about...I've had anadrol straight form the HRT clinic at 100mg/ed and never had them this bad. I'm not saying it can't happen, just never has with me.

the worst lower back pumps are after a show, when you gain 20-30 pounds in a few days,
IT is horrible ! you can't even walk 10 feet without having to sit down for a few seconds because the lower back pump is too intense  :o
