a) We cannot prove undoubtedly that Steroids are unhealthy (even if we all know that ANY form or medication has it's complications and sideeffects but again and I have to admit there are no logterm studies that imply that an overuse of Steroids will undoubtilty lead to what ever healt issue)
b) I have absolute no beef with anybody who wants to mutilate and hurt himself, it's your body your life do what you want with it, wreck your health just to have a better shot at the pussy fuck it all up it's all good with me I'm in favour of selfmutilation so let's get serious.

However...

And this is the aspect I cannot shift my view for a single inch, it is prooven that in most countries (in Europe etc) these drugs are illegal, so anybody who is taking steroids that have not been subscibed by a Doctor (see Lee Priest ) must therefor buy his drugs from an illegal source, i don't care if it is your best friend or the local gymrat, follow the rabbit trail and you sure find your usual suspect distributing and smuggling the drugs to the country you are buying it in.

There are so many adults that do coke on weekends or drop X in college for years.  They grow up fine.  I think steroids aren't that much different.  People use for 2-5 years, have their moment, realize the health/legal risks aren't worth it, and grow up and have a family.

Sure you have the folks who are on the gas, dirt poor, hitting their 40s, but you also have people that use drugs for 4 decades too.  Both never outgrow it.

I am not sure about the level of organized crime in steroid dealing, but the fact is, most steroid use is illegal.
This requires a user to break the law and deal with some form of drug dealer.
I am glad you mentioned this aspect of the steroid issue. Over the past 15 years, I have observed an increase in the "criminal/thug/renegade" element in bodybuilding.

So you let the government make personal decisions for you?  I feel sorry for you, being your age and not realizing you have the freedom to choose.
